LMU Common Book: Screening of G-DOG

You'll get to see Father Greg in person on the 17th. Here is your chance to learn more about the back story of G-Dog and Homeboy Industries.

This award-winning documentary, directed by Freida Mock, tells the entertaining, hilarious and unlikely story of how a white Jesuit priest became an expert in gang lives. Called G-Dog by his homies - his name is Father Greg Boyle - and he works by a powerful idea: "Nothing Stops a Bullet like a Job." G-Dog's unstoppable compassion has transformed the lives of thousands of Latino, Asian, and African American gang members.

Bring a chair, a blanket, and some friends! Popcorn and sodas will be provided.

Evening sponsored by the Common Book, ASLMU, and the Ignatian Leadership Institute.
