Negative emotions such as shame, anxiety, envy, resentment, and regret often rob us of joy and peace in daily life. This workshop will focus on the resources provided by Christian spirituality to bring about healing of these painful emotions.

About the Speakers
Wilkie Au, Ph.D. is the author of the award winning books, By Way of the Heart: Toward a Holistic Spirituality and The Enduring Heart: Spirituality for the Long Haul. His books have been translated into Spanish, Polish, Chinese, and Korean and published in foreign editions in Great Britain, India, and the Philippines. Dr. Au has served as a member of editorial boards for scholarly journals and is a leader in the field of spirituality and formation for spiritual direction and pastoral ministry.
Noreen Cannon Au, Ph.D. is a Jungian Analyst in private practice, as well as a faculty member of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University. A former member of the editorial boards of Human Development and Psychological Perspectives, she writes and lectures extensively on the integration of Christian spirituality and depth psychology. She and her husband, Wilkie Au, Ph.D. have co-authored four books: God’s Unconditional Love: Healing Our Shame, Urgings of the Heart: A Spirituality of Integration, The Grateful Heart: Living the Christian Message and The Discerning Heart: Exploring the Christian Path, which was named best book on pastoral ministry by the Catholic Press Association in 2007.
