Join New York-based artist Bryan M. Wilson on a journey from the Ben Maltz Gallery to the Laband Art Gallery filled with obstacles and devotion led by an Atomic Priest and overseen by the moon.
The Atomic Priesthood is an ongoing, multidisciplinary art project that draws from the unique history of nuclear waste management. This ritual is steeped in ecological stewardship, advocacy and strategies for deep-time communication.
The ritual will start at the Ben Maltz Gallery at OTIS College of Art & Design, and participants will make their way to the Laband Art Gallery at LMU.
This event is a part of the semester-long series Spaces Between, a joint initiative of the Laband Art Gallery and the William H. Hannon Library at LMU, and the Ben Maltz Gallery at Otis College of Art & Design. Event cosponsored by the School of Film & Television.
