LMU School of Education's Teacher Preparation Program is a two-year pathway specifically designed for you to earn both the California SB2042 Preliminary Teaching Credential and an M.A. degree in education. Our program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. All courses are taught in the evenings to accommodate your busy schedule. We offer tracks in either elementary education or secondary education.

Tuesday, August 27 – LMU Campus

Monday, November 4 – LMU Campus

All information sessions begin at 6 p.m. and last approximately 90 minutes. Information sessions held on campus will be located in:

RSVP to soeinfo@lmu.edu before spaces fill up. Please include your name, phone number, which day you would like to attend, and credential focus (elementary or secondary education). After you submit your RSVP, an email will be sent to you to confirm the information session date, time and details. If you RSVP for an information session on campus, you will be given a code to validate for parking costs.
