Please join us for the 2022 Doshi Family Bridgebuilder Award Ceremony and Lecture honoring Dr. Jay Battacharya of Stanford University.  Dr. Battacharya's research focuses on the economics of health care around the world with a particular emphasis on the health and well-being of vulnerable populations. 

In his lecture, Dr. Battacharya will explore the public health response to the COVID pandemic, specifically the impact of unprecedented interventions. While these policies sought to limit the spread of COVID, they were also responsible for far-reaching and adverse economic, physical, and mental health consequences - especially for the poor, the working-class, and children. How can understanding these impacts help to inform future public health interventions and better policies that account for all aspects of health, benefit all people, and respect basic civil and human rights?
