https://paderewskimusicsociety.org/2026competition #lmumusicThe world's best young pianists will converge on Los Angeles this spring for a competition that honors one of Europeís greatest musical heroes and statesmen. The 25 semi-finalists will take part in the Fourth American International Paderewski Piano Competition to be held February 8–14. The semi-finalists will be winnowed to six who will all be vying for over $15,000 in cash prizes and the opportunity to perform in concert in the U.S., France, Italy and Poland. The competition carries on the legacy of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, not only a celebrated concert pianist and composer, but also a leader in the Polish fight for independence after World War I and the nation's prime minister. This event is being hosted by the Paderewski Music Society.
Tickets for the general public are $15, $25, or $100.
Entry is free for LMU faculty, staff, and students with OneCard for the semifinals and final round and reservations are not necessary. For the winner's concert, free LMU seats are limited. Please email Wojciech Kocyan to reserve a spot for that event.
