About this Event
919 Albany St., Los Angeles, CA 90015
http://lls.edu/rise/cjrThe Rights in Systems Enforced (RISE) Clinic is hosting a symposium at Loyola Law School in honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), a week led by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments in the victims’ rights movement as well as an opportunity to reflect on the importance of helping crime survivors find justice.
In keeping with these efforts, the RISE Clinic has invited survivors, judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys to join us as panelists from 1-5 p.m. on April 20, 2022 to identify and propose solutions to crime victims’ rights and criminal justice reform.
Legal and social service providers are strongly encouraged to register to participate in this event that we hope will inspire change to our justice system.
