A film screening of "Among Neighbors" led by Dr. Margarete Feinstein and Professor Mischa Livingstone, followed by a post-screening Q&A with director Yoav Potash

7 p.m. | Monday, April 13, 2026
McIntosh Center, University Hall 3999
Loyola Marymount University

Using hand-drawn animation to bring the past to life, "Among Neighbors" tells the story of one of the last living Holocaust survivors from a small Polish town, alongside an aging eyewitness who recounts the murder of Jews there—six months after the Nazis were defeated.

This powerful and deeply reflective film raises urgent questions about memory, responsibility, and the persistence of violence even after the end of war. Following the screening, Professor Mischa Livingstone (School of Film and Television) will lead a Q&A with "Among Neighbors" director Yoav Potash.

Kosher reception to follow.
