What’s going to happen to the Ballona Wetlands? The state of California faces an impending decision to select a restoration plan that will begin the process to improve the Wetlands. LMU has a long history with the Ballona Wetlands, dating back to the late Dr. Howard Towner, who led LMU students into the Wetlands as part of their biology studies.

Now, boasting over 30 years of combined experience with the Ballona Wetlands, CURes Executive Director and President's Professor of Biology Eric Strauss, Ph.D., and CURes Program Director Lisa Fimiani will offer a retrospective and update on the past, present and future of the Ballona Wetlands.

Please join us for this presentation and discussion about the last remaining wetlands in Los Angeles.

We missed the Ballona Wetlands Seminar. Is there still a way for us to view the seminar via streaming or other way?
