About this Event
Dr. Tracy Johnson is a world-renowned expert on the regulation of gene expression. The goal of her lab’s research is to reveal the molecular workings of a ribonucleoprotein machine, the spliceosome, that is central to post-transcriptional gene regulation. Their research efforts have led to breakthroughs in our understanding of RNA splicing. Dr. Johnson will share her research with undergraduates, staff, and faculty through the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry and Department of Biology Seminar Series, with support from the Office of the Provost. All members of the Seaver community are invited to attend.
