Join us on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the McIntosh Center (UNH 3999) for a presentation by Chris Childers for his new book ‘Greek and Latin Lyric Verse.’

Featuring poets from the 7th c. BCE to the 1st c. CE, including well-known classical poets such as Sappho, Ovid, and Horace, this anthology of Latin and Greek Lyric poetry offers a multiplicity of voices and personalities from the ancient Mediterranean. 

Christopher Childers studied Classics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and poetry at John Hopkins University.
