From carbon offloading to greenwashing and even tree plantations - these techniques, implemented by giant corporations, are designed to keep you in the dark about large corporations' net impact. In today’s world, it is not just CO2 emissions we need to worry about but access to clean water, appropriations of our land, misuse of SDG jargon, and straight-up purposeful mismarketing from the most reputable household brands. After screening "Greenwashing: The Climate Killer," a faculty panel discussion will take place featuring:

  • Emily Jarvis, professor of chemistry and biochemistry
  • Trevor Zink, associate professor of management and sustainability
  • Andy Rohm, professor of marketing
  • Madhu Viswanathan, director of the D.K. Kim Foundation Business for Good Program
