In fall 2018, the College of Business Administration introduced a new monthly series called “Cleaning Up Dirty Business: CBA Night at the Movies.” Movies are shown that feature famous examples of unethical business practices or highlight inspirational examples of business practices followed by a group discussion facilitated by special panelists with expertise on the practices.
A New Economy spotlights companies and individuals who are building a new economy by employing nontraditional business models that look beyond profit. By rewarding human effort fairly and proportionately instead of obsessing about the bottom line, these revolutionary businesses are creating a more sustainable, people-friendly future.
A panel discussion will follow moderated by Sona Gala ’96, JD ’99 (LMU Business Law faculty) and featuring Trevor Zink ’07, MBA ’10 (LMU Management faculty), Gilda Haas (LA Co-op Lab) and Lara Morrison (Los Angeles Eco-Village).
