Our next screening in the "Cleaning Up Dirty Business: CBA Night at the Movies" series is the documentary, Drug Short. When drugmaker Valeant began to grow at dizzying speeds, investors were thrilled. But a handful of skeptics realized something was very wrong.
Following the screening, LMU alums H. Thomas Fehn ’65 (retired securities lawyer), Jennifer Dunatov ’01, ’03 (bioethics), Rahul Ravipudi ’99 (consumer lawyer) and Jim Hindman ’82 (retired pharma industry exec and current pharma board member) will join David Moore, LMU assistant professor of finance, to discuss the Valeant case and issues of securities law, SEC investigations and the ethics of pharmaceutical pricing.
