In fall 2018, the College of Business Administration introduced a new monthly series called “Cleaning Up Dirty Business: CBA Night at the Movies.” Movies are shown that feature famous examples of unethical business practices followed by a group discussion facilitated by special panelists with expertise on the practices and their remedies.
Our next screening is the Dirty Money documentary, Payday. Behind the lavish lifestyle of race car driver Scott Tucker lay a secretive lending empire built on tribal perks and profits from poor customers. A discussion of predatory lending, short-term liquidity, and financial literacy to follow with LMU Assistant Professor David Moore.
