As part of our most recent series, “Bringing the World to LMU,” the Office of Global-Local Initiatives is partnering with CTE to provide an opportunity to learn more about virtual exchanges to bring global perspectives to your local classroom. Come explore ways to incorporate COIL/VE features into your curriculum or co-curriculum to enhance students’ learning experiences.
Dr. Andrea Thomas is a faculty development advisor for virtual exchange, COIL and diversity, equity and inclusion strategy. She has nearly a decade in the field of virtual exchange working with K-12 and Higher Education. Most recently, Andrea served as the Project Director for the State University of New York (SUNY) Venezuela Higher Education Engagement Initiative through The SUNY COIL Center.
