Summer Series: Contemplative Practice and Prayer
Stressed? Anxious? Simply looking for more stillness or connection to the sacred in your life? Come learn about and practice the ancient tradition of contemplative prayer and how it can contribute to your spiritual, personal, and professional life.
This informal series will feature experts and leaders from across the country, as well as ample time for communal, guided meditative prayer. Though our focus will be primarily on Christian contemplative practices, insights from many traditions will inform our conversations. This series is sponsored by the John Main Center for Meditation and Interreligious Dialogue at Georgetown University, and the LMU Office of Mission and Ministry.
This four-session series will meet on Thursdays at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern and will include a communal, guided contemplative experience. Pre-registration is required to access Zoom links. For a complete schedule, information and registration, visit the series Web site.
