The history of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange spans more than 350 years. The humble women of today often comment about standing on the shoulders of the sisters who came before them. This exhibit is a brief glimpse of their story.

Posted through the fall semester as part of the 50th annivesary of the Loyola Marymount merger, this display by the CSJ Center for Reconciliation and Justice on the second floor of the William H. Hannon Library shares the Ignatian roots and history of the Sisters, their ministry in California, and their collaboration with the Jesuits and the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary to establish present-day Loyola Marymount University.
