Justice and Spirituality on Screen: Technology and the Human Imagination
The CSJ Center for Reconciliation & Justice invites you to this special Justice and Spirituality on Screen screening and discussion, which opens the 2020 CSJ Center Symposium, 21st Century Technology: Creative Possibilities and Ethical Conundrums. Tonight's program will include a scholar and artist panel discussion on technology as it has been imagined in film, art, literature and other media. Excerpts from various film and television series will be screened.
The CSJ Center's Justice and Spirituality on Screen series engages questions of faith and culture through the lens of modern cinema. It is cosponsored by the LMU School of Film & Television and the Center for Religion & Spirituality. The 2019-2020 series theme echos that of the CSJ Center's annual symposium.
This event at the LMU Playa Vista Campus is free and open to the public; RSVP is requested (click Register button). For more information, contact Ms. Stefani Mejia at the CSJ Center at email@example.com or 310.568.6694.
