The theme of this week for LMU's Black History Month is Voices of the Civil War. Come engage in conversation with a panel on 12 Years a Slave and learn more about the phenemenal story of a free Black man who became wrongly enslaved and the legacy of his story. 

Black Student Services (BSS) is committed to the holistic development of the African-American student, BSS strives to foster a family-oriented community where trust, respect, and love play a significant role. Since 1969, BSS has worked in collaboration with the division of academic affairs to ensure comprehensive support, engagement, and retention of students from orientation to graduation.
