What are digital humanities? How can they influence and relate to our teaching and research? What (new) forms of investigations and approaches do digital humanities allow? What opportunities do they provide? What skills are needed to fully engage the digital humanities? Are digital humanities of interest only for scholars in the humanities? What interdisciplinary approaches do digital humanities allow?
Several BCLA faculty members were involved in a Learning Community on Digital Humanities this summer. They will speak about their projects and ideas as well as future avenues. We hope for a wide participation of faculty and others that have an interest in exploring the opportunities of Digital Humanities.

Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to teachers@lmu.edu or x85866.

This program will be video and audio taped and may be podcast. By your willing participation in the program, you expressly and irrevocably consent to be photographed, videotaped and/or audio taped and quoted/cited. The films, tapes, and other digital recordings will become the property of the Center of Teaching Excellence, LMU.
