Now a freshman on Coach John Loughran's 28th LMU men's water polo team, Soren Martin is the second from the Martin family to play under Loughran for the Lions. Soren is the son of Ian Martin '99, a goalkeeper on Loughran's first water polo team in 1998 and one of the people that helped solidify the hire that changed the sport on the Bluff.
