The mission of a U.S. diplomat in the Foreign Service is to promote peace, support prosperity, and protect American citizens while advancing the interests of the U.S. abroad. If you’re passionate about public service and want to represent the U.S. around the world, a challenging and rewarding career is waiting for you.
This webinar will provide an overview of 4 prestigious fellowships: the Rangel Graduate Fellowship, the Thomas R. Pickering Fellowship Program, the USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program, and the Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship. All FIVE programs seek to attract outstanding young people who are interested in pursuing careers in the Foreign Service.
On average, fellows receive up to $96,000 in benefits over two years for undergraduate school (FAIT only), graduate school, internships, and professional development activities. We will also discuss the Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Summer Enrichment Program designed to introduce sophomores and juniors to Foreign Service Careers.
This online info session will familiarize you with each award, application process, and best practices for constructing competitive applications. Students of all majors are encouraged to attend. Must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
