In collaboration with Global-Local Affairs and the Center for Teaching Excellence, Cassidy Alvarado, director of ONIF and Fulbright IEA Scholar to South Korea, will provide an overview of these global grants.

Joining the session is Weiko Lin, Associate Professor of Screenwriting and 2008 Fulbright Senior Specialist in Taiwan. Weiko taught an MFA Screenwriting Workshop at Taipei National University of the Arts in Mandarin during his grant.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers around 400 teaching, research, or combination awards to U.S. faculty and experienced professionals in over 125 countries. The competition for academic year 2024-2025 is now open! Applications are due September 15, 2023.

The info session will also cover the Fulbright Specialist and Fulbright-Hays programs.
