“Intellectual virtues” are the personal qualities we need to learn and do research well – qualities like curiosity, open-mindedness, intellectual courage, and intellectual perseverance. In this workshop, we’ll offer an introduction to intellectual virtues and give participants an opportunity to reflect on their own intellectual character strengths and limitations.
