http://bellarmine.lmu.edu/soyinkagatesThe Marymount Institute for Faith, Culture, and the Arts and TSEHAI Publishers invite you to partake in an incredible event featuring Nobel Laureate, writer, activist, and former President's Marymount Professor in Residence, Wole Soyinka, in conversation with Emmy-Award winning filmmaker, literary scholar, journalist, cultural critic, and institution builder, Henry Louis Gates, Jr. The conversation, moderated by Professor Theresia de Vroom and Associate Professor Julia Lee, will see Soyinka and Gates reflect on mentorship; their legacies and contributions to literature, history and culture; as well as creativity, power, and activism. The talk will take place on Friday, March 4 at 7 p.m. in the University Hall Atrium. It is free and open to the public, but seating is limited, and all guests must register.
