In this informal summer series, LLS faculty members explore the ways that the law has and has not responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the way that the law channels public and private action in pandemic circumstances. Professors Samantha Buckingham and Sean Kennedy discuss the ways that COVID-19 has impacted the criminal and juvenile justice systems, including pressing issues of delayed proceedings and safety concerns in detention.
