Clooney, S.J., Parkman Professor of Divinity and professor of Comparative Theology at Harvard Divinity School. The forum is funded by the Martin Gang Institute and cosponsored by the LMU Department of Theological Studies.

About the Rev. Clooney
Francis X. Clooney, S.J., Ph.D. is Parkman Professor of Divinity and professor of Comparative Theology at Harvard Divinity School, and the author of numerous articles and books, including Comparative Theology: Deep Learning across Religious Borders (2010), His Hiding Place Is Darkness: A Hindu-Catholic Theopoetics of Divine Absence (2013), and The Future of Hindu-Christian Studies: A Theological Inquiry (2017). From 2010 to 2017, he was director of the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard.
