Master Class and Info Session: Yoga and the Healing Sciences Teacher Training

Have you ever thought about teaching Yoga? Maybe you simply want to deepen your Yoga practice? Join us for a free 1-hour master class at 9 a.m., followed by an information session at 10 a.m. on the Yoga and the Healing Sciences teacher training and certificate program.

This experience will give you insight into Instructor Terra Gold’s style of teaching and some of the practices that will be covered in much greater depth throughout the program offered this Fall beginning August 4, 2018.

About the Program
Whereas many teacher training programs focus on a single practice or school of Yoga, the Yoga and the Healing Sciences program will introduce students to a variety of practices. Each of the different approaches to yoga practice have developed over the centuries in order to suit the spiritual needs of individuals of different dispositions and capacities. Understanding and appreciating this variety of practice will prepare teachers to better serve a diverse clientele. The program is open to individuals with at least six months of previous Yoga practice (any style is acceptable) who wish to expand, deepen and broaden their knowledge of Yoga. Weekend class meetings open the program to those with full-time careers and other commitments. This teacher training program is Yoga Alliance®-registered 200-hour programs and offer prospective teachers the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the concepts the Yoga tradition, teaching business and methodologies.

To Attend
Both the master class and the information session are free and open to the general public; an RSVP is requested (click the Register button). Please bring a yoga mat (if you have one) and wear comfortable active wear.
