Lecture: "Sophia according to Rudolf Steiner and Sri Aurobindo" by Dr. Robert McDermott

The Graduate Program in Yoga Studies and the Center for Religion & Spirituality invite you to this lecture with author and philosopher Robert McDermott, Ph.D.

Rudolf Steiner and Sri Aurobindo have affirmed the reality and influence of the divine feminine: Steiner by his esoteric research concerning Isis and Sophia, Sri Aurobindo by his affirmation of Mirra Richard, his spiritual collaborator, as the manifestation of shakti, divine feminine creativity. This lecture will explain and recommend Steiner’s and Aurobindo’s insights on the divine feminine and their contemporary relevance for individuals, religious traditions, and Earth.
