Making a Scene: The Process of Stage Design (Ongoing Exhibition)

The William H. Hannon Library's Spring 2019 exhibition from Archives and Special Collections is now on display in the Terrance L. Mahan, S.J. Gallery. "Making a Scene: The Process of Stage Design" celebrates the career of Charles E. Erven, professor of Theatre Arts at Loyola Marymount University.

Featuring selections from the recently donated Charles E. Erven Theatre Collection with additional loans from Erven’s personal collection, the exhibition takes us through the creative process of set design from start to finish. "Making a Scene: The Process of Set Design" was curated by Charles Erven, professor of Theatre Arts at Loyola Marymount University, and Lauren Zuchowski Longwell, curator of the Charles E. Erven Theatre Collection. Undergraduate student Jesse Yu created the digital display.

The exhibition will run January 18, 2019 through May 10, 2019. The Terrance L. Mahan, S.J. Gallery is open Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and is located on level 3 of the William H.
