The Center for Religion and Spirituality invites you to this online Yoga, Mindfulness and Social Change workshop with yogi Maureen Shannon-Chapple.

This workshop will explore the intersection between mindfulness practice and social justice work, with special attention to developing mindful communication skills. How do we effectively communicate, especially in conflict situations, in a way that reflects the values and insights nurtured in the quiet of meditation? How do we express the practice in active, socially engaged contexts? Guided practice periods and communication exercises will be included as ways to inspire our own responses to these important questions.
