About this Event
Did you know that undergraduate research opportunities are available in almost every discipline and most positions are paid?
In this info session, LMU's Office of National & International Fellowships (ONIF) and Office of Research & Creative Arts (ORCA) will introduce students to research opportunities both on and off the Bluff.
ORCA will share info on LMU's Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP), Independent Undergraduate Research Program (IURP), the Research Learning Community (RLC), and other on-campus opportunities.
ONIF will highlight summer opportunities like the National Science Foundation's REUs, Leadership Alliance Summer Research - Early Identification Program, as well as year-round opportunities like the Newman Civic Fellowship and Clinton Global Initiative, and more.
Undergraduates of all majors and backgrounds, especially first-year students, are encouraged to attend.
