Professor Patricia Winograd and Associate Dean Kathleen Kim will moderate a discussion that follows, about the ways in which the panelists foster and advance multicultural and multiracial progress across different communities.

The panel features four social justice leaders who will share their diverse backgrounds and work.

Gamal Palmer, the Founder of Conscious Builders, Inc. and an accomplished DEI leader in universities, businesses and nonprofits, globally. 

Sharon Nazarian, a Senior VP at ADL whose work in academia, philanthropy and foreign affairs focuses on racial justice and antisemitism. 

Eileen Ma (LLS alumn), Voting Rights Director at the Asian Law Caucus and former Executive Director of API Equality. 

Joseph Villela, Policy Director for the LLS Sunita Jain Anti-Trafficking Initiative and former Senior Policy Director of CHIRLA.
