Scholarships for Postgraduate Study in the UK and Ireland

LMU students are invited to attend an information session on the Fulbright UK/Ireland Partnership Awards, Gates Cambridge, Marshall, Mitchell, and Rhodes Scholarships- all of which fully-fund eligible graduate programs in the UK & Ireland. 

+The Davies-Jackson Scholarship offers first generation students the opportunity to study at St. John's College, within the University of Cambridge. Students can pursue either an Affiliated BA or an MPhil.

+Fulbright UK Partnership Awards- Candidates may undertake a graduate degree at the institutions listed in the UK Partnership Award category, as long their proposal falls within the parameters of the award.

+Gates Cambridge Scholarships are prestigious, highly competitive full-cost scholarships awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.

+Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Up to 41 Scholars are selected each year to study at graduate level at an UK institution in any field of study. Applicants have a minimum 3.7 cumulative GPA to apply.

+The Mitchell Scholarship funds one academic year of postgraduate study in any discipline offered by institutions of higher learning in Ireland. 

+The Rhodes Scholarships are postgraduate awards supporting outstanding all-round students at the University of Oxford, and providing transformative opportunities for exceptional individuals.

This info session will familiarize you with the different awards, application processes, and best practices for constructing competitive applications. Students of all majors are encouraged to attend. We recommend attendees have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
