“Secrets, Scandal, and Shame: What We Know about Sex Abuse in the Catholic Church” with Guest Speaker: Kathleen McChesney, Ph.D.
LMU faculty, staff and students, and members of our local community are invited to attend a talk by Kathleen McChesney, Ph.D., on the topic of “Secrets, Scandal, and Shame: What We Know about Sex Abuse in the Catholic Church”. The program will be followed by a dialogue with the audience and a light reception. Dr. McChesney held key leadership positions in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Catholic Bishops’ Conference and The Walt Disney Company before establishing Kinsale Management Consulting. Dr. McChesney was selected by the United States Catholic Bishops’ Conference to ensure that all Catholic dioceses complied with civil laws and internal policies for the prevention, reporting and response to sexual abuse of minors.
