Faculty, staff and students are invited to a Syrian Refugee Crisis Teach-in. The goal is to educate our campus about the crisis and opportunities for advocacy.  The event will feature Dr. Najwa al-Qattan (History), Profs. David Glazier and Kathleen Kim of Loyola Law School, representatives from Oxfam and the International Rescue Committee, LA, and an award-winning short film about Syrian refugees.  This event was coordinated and planned by students, faculty and staff. Lunch 12:00-1:00 PM. *Sponsored by the President’s Office, Center for Service and Action and the Department of Political Science.
