Policing L.A. Forum to Examine Failed Police Oversight in County
The Policing L.A. Forum, part of the Loyola Anti-Racism Center, will host a panel at noon on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, in Burns Lounge to discuss "10 Years of Failed Law Enforcement Oversight in L.A. County." Panelists include Professor Eric Miller, commissioner, Sybil Brand Commission; Professor Sean Kennedy '89, former chair, L.A. County Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission; L.A. County Inspector General Max Huntsman; "Check the Sheriff" Co-Chair Stephanie Luna; Chief Deputy L.A. County Inspector General Dara Williams; and Miriam Aroni Krinsky, executive director, Fair and Just Prosecution. One hour of general MCLE credit is available, if approved, with sign-in and sign-out on the day of the event. This activity is pending approval.
