https://cvent.me/WdqoXo?RefId=LocalistEight years after the 2014 Russian illegal invasion, occupation, and eventual annexation of the Ukrainian province of Crimea, Russia launched a larger full-scale invasion of its sovereign neighbor Ukraine.
On the three-year anniversary of this full-scale assault, the Loyola Center for the Study of Law and Genocide will present a program examining the international/humanitarian law violations that may have been wrought by this, the largest European war since the Allied defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945. The program will include presentations by internationally recognized human rights experts as well as first-hand accounts by attorney/survivors of the war.
