About this Event
1 LMU Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045
The Committee on the Status of Women Speaker Series celebrates Women’s History Month and is hosting an inaugural “Brown Bag – lunch-and-learn” event featuring Lynne Scarboro. Lynne will share career insights and her experiences as a woman in the workforce. We hope you are able to join us in what promises to be an enlightening conversation with our Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.
The series will include four events each year, featuring inspiring leaders and recognized experts discussing their accomplishments, challenges, and insights. Each event in the series will provide Campus Community members the opportunity to engage with these leaders and experts, host conversations about important topics with women leaders and promote action that strengthens the pipeline for women’s leadership in higher education.
The Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) is a University Standing Committee charged with addressing issues of special concern to women students, staff, and faculty on the LMU campus and advising the president on these issues. We aim to support, empower, and improve the lives of women across the LMU community by reviewing policies, procedures, and programs that directly affect the status of all women and proposing new programs for the advancement of the status of women on the LMU campus.
