About this Event
Do you suffer from misinformation overload? Learn tools and techniques for evaluating the credibility of what you read online. Be a better digital citizen! Join us for "The Misinformation Pandemic: Who Can You Trust?", a workshop that looks at the swirl of news surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attendees will practice techniques for evaluating the credibility of news stories and learn about some of the technology that impacts daily information consumption (custom news feeds, micro-targeted, etc). By the end of the session, we hope attendees will feel more confident in their ability to use judge the reliability of news reports. This event is open to all LMU students.
