The COVID-19 pandemic has caused untold harm, suffering, and distress across the world.

These three bioethicists supported hospital clinical teams, performed ethics consultations, and practiced medicine. The panelists will reflect on their experiences of the first, second, third, and fourth “waves” of patients suffering the effects of COVID infection. Although the stories change and evolve, one constant has remained: distress experienced by patients, family members, and hospital workers.
