The Center for Religion and Spirituality invites you to this two-part online workshop with author and spiritual director Colette Lafia.

In this two-part workshop, Ms. Lafia will invite us to see ourselves, and all of life, as a manifestation of Divine love. We live in the heart of God, an identity we share, where we not only align ourselves with and connect to love but recognize that we are love. Cultivating contemplative practices allows us to live more deeply in the heart of God. During our time together, we will engage in lectio divina, breath awareness, loving kindness meditation, journal writing, and listening with the heart in a loving community.Drawing from her book, The Divine Heart, Ms. Lafia will explore how we all have a great capacity to grow in love.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Discover the seven invitations into the depth of love: receptivity, delight, expansiveness, vulnerability, acceptance, mystery and gratitude.
  • Become more aware of the Divine’s inseparable presence from us—how God lives in us, and we live in God.
  • Deepen and grow in our capacity to become the loving presence of God in the world.
