The path to living in harmony with Earth begins not with fixing the environment, but with fixing ourselves – specifically our perceptions about Earth. Our environmental and social problems (e.g., climate change, species extinction, environmentally-linked cancers, genocide, deforestation) are rooted in separation between ourselves and the environment. We need to see everything: Earth, Cosmos, Sun, Worm, Bee, as well as each other with “new eyes”.
This workshop will explore how we can connect modern ecology and environmental activism with the teachings of yoga in a way that inspires contemplation and action.
Registration is open online (click "Buy Tickets" button). Times listed are set to Pacific Time. This is a virtual workshop. Registered participants will receive an email invitation prior to the start of the workshop to connect via live videoconference using Zoom. Read here on how to connect.
In the event the workshop is canceled, participants will be notified by Wednesday, the week of the workshop. Registration fees are refunded only if the workshop is canceled; no refund for partial attendance or no-show. For further information, please email the Center at email@example.com.
